Jacob earned a Bachelor of Science in Recording Industry from Middle Tennessee State University in May 2011. He founded Resonate Recordings in 2014 with co-founder Mark Owens & they set out to apply their audio experience by helping podcasters improve the quality of their podcasts. Since founding Resonate, Jacob has partnered with over 100+ podcasters & worked very closely with many podcasts that have been in the top charts on iTunes. Jacob also earned a Master of Arts from Southern Seminary in 2014. Jacob & his wife live in Louisville, KY with their three children. In his free time he enjoys spending time with family, working on cars, being in the great outdoors, & trying new local restaurants.

Jon is on hiatus from his Masters degree studies to focus his attention on helping the Resonate team continue to grow. His experience has always been centered around helping people & overseeing teams to make sure they are offering the greatest level of service to clients as possible. Jon is a creative soul, musician & health enthusiast, passionate about healthy eating & living. He enjoys listening to & playing music, getting tattooed & spending down time with friends & family. Originally from the Steel City of Pittsburgh, PA, Jon & his family recently relocated to Louisville from West Palm Beach, FL where he had lived for the last 20 years. Jon is a die-hard Pittsburgh sports fan & shoe aficionado.

Dayton earned a Bachelor of Science in Recording & Production from Appalachian State University. His interest in recording began at the early age of 12 when he learned how to record himself playing guitar. Dayton has been an audio and mixing engineer at well known studios in Boone, NC, Franklin, TN, & Louisville, KY. Dayton recently recorded & edited a string arrangement for a #1 Billboard chart. He also did sound design & mixing for the feature film, The Song, which had a nationwide theatrical release. Dayton and his wife currently live in Louisville, KY. In his free time he enjoys cooking for his wife. He is an avid cheesecake baker and has a weakness for chocolate.

Adam earned a BA in Economics with a minor in Music from Berry College in 2010. After a few years in the insurance business & some soul searching, Adam started working to get his career on a more fulfilling path. Adam enrolled in graduate school at Middle Tennessee State University in 2013, graduating with a Master’s in Recording Arts & Technologies in 2016. With experience in studio & live recording & mixing, Adam joined Resonate in 2017 after developing a love of podcasts. Adam lives in Murfreesboro, TN with his wife & juggles many hobbies, including hiking, music, reading & sketching.

Adam Townsell
Pat has worked professionally in audio post production since 2013, after graduating from Hillsong International Leadership College in Sydney, Australia. His passion & obsession with recorded audio began early as he recorded his own music at age 13. These early experiences capturing drums sounds & guitar tones inspired his pursuit of a career in audio production. He has edited, mixed & done sound design for some of the most popular broadcast television networks such as HGTV, TLC, TruTV, Food Network & more. Pat lives in Louisville, KY with his wife, 2 year-old daughter & 4 year-old Lab. In his free time, he enjoys reading with his daughter, exploring new cities with his wife & watching documentaries.

Janelle earned a B.A. in Communications and a B.A. in Psychology, with a minor in Spanish from Saint Louis University. She has always been curious about story telling and helping to share captured moments of life. Not limiting herself to one particular field of story sharing, some of her experience includes being an audio-visual technician, a radio DJ, a podcaster, a photographer, and a writer. Her love languages are food and TV show/movie references; and in her spare time she enjoys traveling, watching Korean dramas, and salsa dancing.

Colby is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in music performance from Boyce College. He fell in love with the recording arts after high school when he bought a home studio starter kit & recorded his first EP. During his sophomore year at college, he began to work as an audio-visual technician on campus & received technical training in both live & studio engineering. Colby currently lives in Louisville, KY. In his free time he works on personal creative projects, reads non-fiction & relaxes with friends at Quills Coffee.

Rachel earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in with an emphasis in Marketing from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. She has spent 5 years in fashion merchandising and now works in home staging and interior design. She has always loved creative writing and considers herself a podcast-junkie so teaming up with Resonate Recordings has been a perfect fit. She spends her free time at Chick-fil-A and binge-watching old seasons of Survivor with her husband.

Adrian has worked on both sides of the boards as an artist and producer since 2008. He began recording and producing bands in Baltimore, MD before moving to Louisville with his wife Angeline. He continues to write and release new music and help develop other local artists. He enjoys movies, British television, and trying out local restaurants with his wife.

Matt earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boyce College in Louisville, KY. Matt first became passionate about the recording arts in high school where he has worked as both an artist and producer. He has toured with prominent indie artists and continues to gig in the Louisville music scene. A podcast addict, Matt’s job is to help podcasters choose the best production services to fit their unique needs. Originally from Gainesville, GA, Matt loves all things Atlanta sports, drinking and brewing coffee, and late nights at the neighborhood Waffle House with his family and friends.

Zack Stefanski is an audio engineer and musician from Louisville by way of Chicago, Illinois. He earned a bachelor's degree in Music Technology from Bellarmine University in 2014 and has spent the years since as an audio engineering in theater, music concert, and corporate event settings as well as performing and advocating for the Louisville music scene. He has been known to purchase popcorn from a movie theater without seeing a movie.

As she pursues her career as an artist and singer-songwriter, Mandy continues to hone her passion of audio engineering through podcasting editing work, as well as music production. A native of Louisville, KY, Mandy currently resides in Nashville, TN. She describes herself as a Harry Potter nerd and a Sara Bareilles enthusiast.

Matt earned his M.A. in Digital Storytelling from Ball State University in 2008. Matt loves using video to tell compelling stories and entertaining people. In addition to podcasts, he has directed and edited numerous music videos and worked for the Louisville Bats AAA baseball team. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife and three sons, watching movies, and reading. Matt is a die-hard fan of the Chicago Cubs and Detroit Red Wings.

He has worked for several TV post houses and embarked on a career as a sound designer and audio professional. He spent much of 2018 working in some of London’s premier jazz venues recording and mixing live music. In his free time he enjoys reading Japanese literature, visiting new cities and vegan cooking.

Jake is an Audio Engineer hailing from Louisville, KY with a degree from Elon University in Music in the Liberal Arts with a minor in Music Technology. He worked for the Elon Music Department as an event-recorder focusing on tracking classical and jazz performances. Jake also worked for WSOE 89.3 as the productions director where he produced commercials, podcasts, and live on-the-air performances. In his spare time, Jake likes to collect and listen to music, explore the outdoors, and play with his beloved cat, Eleanor.
